This example is for a National pub chain that operates 2500 pubs across the UK, of which 500 are centrally managed. We have relamped 150 for this one client alone and counting, and we have saved 1000s of tonnes of carbon and £10,000s of cash. The objective here was very simple: cut the operational costs of the bar's lighting while keeping the appearance exactly the same - warm and welcoming, and while keeping the bar functional for serving food during the day. The bars had a mixture of halogen lights throughout comprising of 30 watt AR-111's and 50 watt GU-10 and MR-16's in a mixture of recessed and gimbaling fittings. These lights were costing the customer £6,093.68 per year at just one location alone, £3,324.42 of which was energy costs and £2,769.26 was bulb replacement costs.

We replaced the existing units with a mixture of our Liet 3 and Liet 6 units which reduced these annual operational costs at just one location to £439.40 with no bulb replacements and removing the need for ongoing maintenance. This means a £5,654.27 annual saving at a single location which goes straight onto the bar's bottom line. The bars looks fantastic and have been hugely successful on opening with takings being up by 3x. Although our LED lighting did not alone pull people in, it proved we had completed our brief of maintaining the bar's warm and welcoming atmosphere.

At just one of the 150 installation alone we've saved our customer 12.314 tonnes of carbon.
