For a health club chain, in one of their Sussex clubs in the UK, an ongoing problem was with their steam room lighting. Being lit with halogens and in such a degrading and harsh environment the lights were constantly blowing. Due to moisture, the steam room had to be closed at great inconvenience to the club and customers, to 'dry out' before any light bulb changes could be made. The blowouts left the steam room, poorly lit and unprofessionally unmanaged, which has led to the club receiving customer complaints.
