CSR is integrated into our business culture; all stakeholders at Lietcorp consider CSR to be integral to the successful operation of the business. Our CSR policy covers the Company’s responsibilities to its employees, customers, suppliers and shareholders as well as the impact of its operations on the environment and the wider community.

The Executive Management Team communicates the standard of behaviour expected from its employees. These standards are supported and endorsed by our Board and shareholders. The company also looks for its customers, suppliers, and agents to respect the same values and its impact on the environment and the community.
Code of Business Conduct
Our Code of Business Conduct formalises the expected standards of behaviour and conduct that are applicable to employees and forms part of the company hand book and terms of employment. This contains guidance on general standards of conduct, corporate hospitality and gifts, bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, confidentiality, fraud, employment, health & safety, and relationships with third parties, the community and the environment. Respective issues are a condition of engagement with third parties involved with the Company’s business.

Lietcorp is committed to conducting all its business in an honest and ethical manner. We have a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption and are committed to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships wherever we operate as well as implementing and enforcing effective systems to counter bribery.
Quality Process, Environmental Compliance and Health & Safety
Whilst we already have a clear policy on Quality Management, Environmental Compliance, and Health & Safety, we are constantly striving to go beyond compliance and create a beneficial working environment.
The manufacturing process for our products has minimal environmental impact as our products do not require capital-intensive machinery. Gas emissions, chemicals and water are all well below government thresholds.
Following the ethics of the circular economy, our key focal areas are the reduction of waste and minimising energy consumption and maximising recycling of all materials including packaging. A key area of continuous improvement focus is the quantity and type of material used in the products we manufacture.
Our R&D engineering department performs an important role in reducing the amount of material and packaging used in our products. This action covers own purchases and material used by suppliers. Lietcorp works to exceed internationally recognised regulations and all our products are RoHS, WEEE and REACH compliant. In fact our products have a positive impact on the global environment, as not only is the quality of light substantially superior to incumbent products, they improve the working environment and are proven to significantly reduce energy consumed compared with a similar product using other technology such as fluorescence, CDMT and incandescent lighting. Our products are installed throughout our manufacturing and office facilities to this end.
As we grow our business and through the support of our customers and suppliers we aim to make a significant impact on the global environment, with particular focus on helping developing countries.

Health & Safety
Lietcorp provides a safe working environment for employees, customers and visitors through the maintenance of high standards of health & safety. The health & safety policy will be reviewed at least twice annually in line with BSI audits.
Employee Welfare and Training
Lietcorp seek to enrich the wellbeing of its employees with fair remuneration, benefits and performance related packages. We have defined Personal Development Plans and appraisal systems to ensure all employees get the required support and training to carry out their duties.
We have an open culture where both directors and employees recognise the importance of honesty, integrity and accountability in delivering the Company’s performance in a safe and efficient environment. Employee training and assessment systems will be reviewed at least twice annually in line with BSI audits.
